Earlier in February, the Quensh team offered a free IOSH Working Safely course in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and were delighted to welcome a variety of businesses from the South East and London region to the one-day training event.
Hosted at the Mercure Hotel, Tunbridge Wells, it was a pleasure to bring together representatives from 10 companies for an interactive and enjoyable session that spanned safe working fundamentals; identifying common hazards; protecting our environment; defining hazard and risk; and improving safety performance at work.
The course is designed to be engaging, fun, jargon-free and based on what people really need to know — which makes for a refreshing day of learning and engagement for employees from all kinds of business.
Networking & Prize Draw
Relaxed networking drinks at the Mercure Hotel followed the IOSH Working Safely training, which presented valuable opportunities to learn more about each attendee and their business objectives, as well as facilitating networking between the different represented businesses.
Technical Sales Director Jamie Searle and London-based Senior HSEQ Advisor Danny Littlechild were in attendance on the day, which also included a prize draw to win a bottle of gin.
The lucky winner of the grand prize was Ross Thorne from Rise Automation Ltd.
Positive Feedback
The course was very well-received by our attendees, and we look forward to working closely with more companies across the South East / London region in the coming months.
The team appreciated the great feedback from those who joined us, and one course participant left the following review on Google:
“Absolutely fantastic course. The way it was delivered, the venue, the interaction, and most importantly, the course content. It was excellent. Highly recommended.”
