Team Quensh swapped the corporate life for the beach last week to participate in an environmental awareness campaign to clean up local beauty spot, Newburgh Beach.
Joining forces with our client and friends at J+S Subsea, the team took part in a clean-up effort and collected 138kg of plastic and waste, making a positive difference through this local initiative.
Special thanks to the East Grampian Costal Partnership (EGCP), an organization dedicated to promoting the sustainable development and management of the East Grampian Coast, for providing us with clothing kits and gear.
Reflecting on the event, our Managing Director, Andy James, expressed his enthusiasm saying: “The beach clean-up provided a fun and hands-on opportunity to bring our teams together to help make a difference to our local environment. It was a great chance to empower the team and inspire change to keep our local beach looking beautiful for all to enjoy.”
Following our successful clean-up, the Quensh team continued their commitment to supporting local by enjoying lunch by the sea at OGV Taproom, a new venue recently opened at Newburgh Beach.
This “support local” movement reinforces our dedication to fostering community connections and promoting sustainable practices in our everyday lives.
